Apple - Walnut Baby Puree
2 apples
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 Tbs water
Place 2 cored, peeled, and cut up apples with 1/4 cup shelled, halved walnuts in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, or until apples are fork tender. Then, place the apples, walnuts, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, and 3 Tbs water from the steamer in a food processor. Cover and process for 3 mins or until smooth, Sprinkle the puree with 1/8 tsp cinnamon. Makes 1 cup.
